Breakfast at the hotel, before departing on a journey deep into the snowy wilderness of the Arctic. Your adventure begins with a scenic ride in a sleigh pulled by a snowmobile, gliding through snow-covered forests and open landscapes. Upon arrival at the reindeer farm you will have the unique opportunity to observe the reindeer up close, learn about their care and hear fascinating stories about the traditions and practices of reindeer herding. Your guide, a local reindeer herder, will share insights into the year-round cycle of reindeer husbandry and its vital role in the region’s culture and way of life. During the experience, you will take a break in a lean-to hut where you warm up by the fire with fried sausages, coffee, hot juice and local sweet pastries.

In the afternoon you will return to Harriniva Adventure Resort where you can enjoy a warm sauna. Dinner and accommodation at Harriniva Adventure Resort.

After breakfast you will meet your guide who will provide you with snowmobile driving instructions and inform you of the safety regulations. During the safari you will drive through snow-covered forests and over frozen lakes. Lunch will be served by an open fire in the wilderness. The duration of the excursion is approximately 5 hours and the driving distance is approximately 60-80 km. Two people will share one snowmobile with the possibility to change drivers halfway (a single driver supplement is included in the single room supplement, as well as for the third person when 3 adults are sharing a triple room). Breakfast at the cabin before your dog sledding adventure continues through wintery Finnish Lapland. Today you will drive your husky team for about 25 km, and lunch will be served in the wilderness along the way. Check out of your hotel room, pack up your gear, meet your own team of 4-5 dogs and learn how to handle the sled. Travel through wintery Arctic landscapes, enjoy lunch in the wilderness and learn some wilderness skills by making the fire, feeding the huskies and of course heating the traditional sauna in the evening at the wilderness cabin. Overnight at the wilderness cabin with shared facilities and rooms (sleeping bag will be provided).
