The lodge lets visitors experience how many Norwegians spend their holidays: in cabins out in nature. Whether staying in a modern private cabin or a room in the main lodge, guests will enjoy a comfortable stay in a remote Arctic environment. The surrounding landscape offers impressive views during the day and chances to see the Northern Lights at night.
A variety of outdoor activities are available, including skiing and snowshoeing. For relaxation, the lodge features a wellness area with a sauna and jacuzzi. In the evening, a three-course dinner will be served at Bjørnfjell Restaurant, featuring local ingredients and traditional flavours. Overnight at Bjornfjell Mountain Lodge.
Breakfast at Bjørnfjell Mountain Lodge. The morning is free for you to relax or participate in optional winter activities such as dog sledding, snowmobiling or snowshoeing, allowing you to explore the area at your own pace.
In the evening, you will be driven to the top of the mountain for a bonfire dinner experience. Here, a traditional meal will be prepared over an open fire, giving you a taste of local traditional cuisine. While enjoying the meal, you may spot local wildlife, such as reindeer or foxes. If the conditions are right, you may enjoy the sight of the Northern Lights overhead. After dinner, you will return to the lodge. Accommodation at Bjørnfjell Mountain Lodge.
Breakfast at Bjørnfjell Mountain Lodge. You have the day at leisure to relax or join winter activities. If you prefer outdoor activities, we recommend trying cross-country skiing, also known as Nordic skiing, which is one of the most popular winter sports in Norway. It is not only a mode of transportation historically used for travel and hunting in the snowy terrain, but also a fun family activity and a way to connect with nature. You can rent equipment and receive instruction, with both beginner-friendly and more challenging tracks available for more experienced skiers. Overnight at Bjørnfjell Mountain Lodge.
